I’ve been wanting to have a place to catalogue quotes and sayings that I find informative for a long time.  Even though I like to design web pages, I’m not savvy enough with database technologies to create a categorized, searchable database like what I want, so I thought that a 1-column blog would be a good solution.  I had thought about using Quoty, but it has a no-profanity/obscenity policy, and I’m not sure that I could abide by that, dammit!
